Dr. Luis Alicea, DMD

My visit to Dr. Luis F. Alicea was a great experience, thanks to Dr. Alicea and his assistants, Ivonne and Rocio. They are known for their professionalism and commitment to providing excellent patient care. Ivonne and Rocio work closely with Dr. Alicea to ensure the highest quality of care and a positive experience during my visit. Also, I have to add the great hands Dr. Alicea has. even though I was in pain due to an infection.

My husband went for an extraction. We chose Dr Alicea ONLY because his primary dentist highly recommended him but I wish we would have gone to another office! Dr Alicea has poor bedside manners and rushed out after the procedure. My husband experienced a lot of bleeding when we got home and being that he is diabetic it was a big concern. When he called to express his concerns the rep who answered kept putting him on hold to relay my husband's concerns to the doctor and then relay the doctor's responses to my husband. Apparently, they should have prescribed him an antibiotic but did not so my husband requested that they call it into our pharmacy. It is day 2 and my husband still has bleeding, his face is extremely swollen AND our pharmacy still has not received the scripts from the Dr. Alicea's office. Avoid this particular doctor if you have to go to this office.

I went to this practice because I had seen Dr Antonos a few years ago, and I was extremely pleased with both his skills and his care. I was sitting down answering the assistant's questions when this guy comes in, tells me to open my mouth and proceeds to stick his fingers under my tongue! I had to stop and ask him 'are you the doctor??' 'Yes; open your mouth'. That was the extent of the introduction. Then, they pushed me to schedule surgery for 2 days later, which I couldn't have, but when I called to reschedule it, I was told it couldn't be scheduled until I pay 50% of the fee for the surgery. I am taking my mouth somewhere else. Not impressed.

I actually live in St. Louis and we are visiting Orlando for the next two months. Unfortunately on our second day here one of my back teeth lost a large filling and then cracked in half. I scrambled to try and find an oral surgeon to take care of this and I was fortunate to find Dr. Alicea. They took great care of me and his assistant Charles was very helpful and knowledgeable as well. Dr Alicea was professional and provided all the information to put me at ease. I am very pleased I was able to find this practice and will definitely utilize them if I need any additional service since we do visit Florida quite often. Thanks agin for everything!!

Dr Luis has a far superior expertise in his field than others, and he adds compassion to it. I had an infected wisdom tooth that spread the infection to 2 surrounded teeth that also had to be extracted. The surgery went very smooth, and I had an exceptional recovery with no pain and no swelling, it is like miracle. Moreover, Dr. Alicea personally called me the evening prior to the surgery and the day after the surgery as well. His expertise mixed with a high level of kindness is unsurpassable!

Luis didn’t read my referral notes . Took his own lead . Didn’t listen to the patient . What a disservice ..showed no concern or interest in my problem . He needs better social skills and professionalism .

I had the long process of having an implant removed and redone correctly. It’s been years and no problems whatsoever. I will need to go back soon to get two implants on the other side. So many doctors told me that it could not be done and everything turned out perfectly.

I went to Dr. Alicea to have my wisdom tooth removed. After a couple of days the left side of my face was still numb. I went back to let him know that this isn't normal. He told me to take vitamin B pills and brushed it off. Weeks later still the same issue, he gave me pills but that still did not work. He also told me I am not young and these things happen to older folks...I was 35. A year later my bottom lip and chin is still numb. I regret ever going to this man.

Dr. Alicea is so great...! He has the very best chair-side manner I have encountered. Explains things well, ensures my comfort, I have seen him (unfortunately) too many times for dental implants, and so I have become a "frequent flyer." He gets my very highest recommendation.

Dr Alicea was very informative of the procedure and mindful of my pain tolerance. (Bone graph and implant) He stopped and gave me another shot. I did not feel rushed. He and all his staff all wear masks for Covid precautions.

It has been over 3 months since I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Alicea and my bottom lip is still numb. During all my visits, he rushes in and out. Does not take time to fully answer my questions. Half the time I keep stopping him before he rushes out the door. On all occasions, his nurse is the one that takes the time to fully answer my questions. And if they don't know, they then go and find out the answer. There are much better doctors out there that take their time and actually care.

Had a tooth extractions and he is the best i have gone to . He has a feathery hand and you can tell he enjoys his work .

I had my wisdom teeth extraction surgery with Dr. Luis Alicea. I was worried when I went to my appointment for the surgery but the staff and Dr. Alicea were very professional and they kept on insuring me that this procedure is normal and won't last for 30 minutes. Everything went well and I am satisfied with the result. My wife and my daughter also had oral surgeries with Dr. Alicea before mine. I would definitely recommend the office of Dr. Alicea for anyone.

3 weeks ago I went to the Kissimmee office to get my 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Alicea. I was super nervous but everything went very smoothly. I was in and out of there in about 1 hour, followed the before and after care instructions to the letter and I couldn't be happier. Very good experience, I would recommend Dr. Alicea without hesitation. He knows what he is doing :)

My experience with Orofacial & Dental Implant Surgery was wonderful. Starting from the front desk staff, to the assistants, and dentist Dr. Luis Alicea. It was very urgent for me to get my wisdom teeth pulled out since I start school soon, and they were able to accommodate my schedule. I'm writing this review to express my gratitude to Dr Luis F Alicea and his staff at the Kissimmee office. My nephew had an emergency that required surgery. They were gracious to accommodate us in short notice. Upon arrival everyone the office knew we were coming and they were courteous and knowledgeable as to explain all the steps.
