Dr. Lorenzo Modeste, DDS

I have been going to see Dr. Modeste since I was 7years old and have experience nothing but exceptional service with and with out insurance. He is the only Dentist I trust to perform any dental procedure on my teeth as well as my sons. He explains what is occurring or going on very well and gives his patience the option of choosing. Now as far as his staff is concerned the customer service could be better but there action for me does not diminish his work. And yes, I have also paid $300 out of pocket myself because I did not have dental insurance but his cost compared to others is still cheaper with the work he does. He goes above and beyond for his clients. He is very respectful and comical in his way even though his jokes are not all that funny he tries to lighten up the tension and make you fell more comfortable by getting to know you.

staff sucks. won't ever answer the phone (unless it's lunch and then they can't help you then anyway) and will not return messages.

I’m sorry to report that I cannot recommend this dentist. The waiting time for both of two appointments was an hour and fifteen minutes. Of greater concern was that Dr. Modeste’s teeth cleaning appointment (for which he charged $300) lasted just 20 minutes at most, which included the time he spent injecting numbing medication. I voiced my concern that 20 minutes seemed inadequate to do a thorough cleaning, but he insisted that the quality of a cleaning “has nothing to do with the length the time spent.” All the dental cleanings I’ve ever had take much longer than that. A Google search yielded multiple results that “Most dental cleanings last between 30 minutes to an hour.”
