I was recommended by my lactation consultant to go to her for tongue and lip tie. Because of that, and the fact that I waited to tell her any info until she asked what she needed or wanted to know, I didn’t “value the situation enough” to get a surgery my child needed. Then I needed stuff for my child’s daycare, and she refused to give it to me. I was told that it was my job as the parent to deal with it, and they were not willing to do it because she had “too many patients to attend to.” She made me feel as though she thought I did not care about my child, and that she did not care at all. And telling me she would not give me what I needed for my child’s well being because she had patients to attend to made me feel as though I was no longer a patient after she did the surgery.
