Dr. Lisa Augustine, DDS

Aspen wood Dental was by far the worst experience I have ever had in dentistry. I was under the care of Dr. Augustine and she recommended I get my wisdom teeth removed. She assured me that she could do the surgery and I would heal quickly. I told her I needed to have a smooth surgery because I was giving a speech in less than 3 weeks. During my surgery there was a complication and one of my wisdom teeth was lodged into my sinus cavity underneath my eye. I had to be woken up from anesthesia to sign paperwork and transferred to a different surgeon to fix the mistake. I had to get over 30 stitches and go to multiple follow-up appointments after the procedure. I was in an immense amount of pain the weeks following and received no apology from this office for the suffering I endured from this surgery. I struggled to speak, eat, attend school, and do my regular daily routine without assistance. To this day I do not have feeling in part of my lower jaw and have permanent nerve damage. If I have any advice, steer clear of this doctor and this entire dentist.

Very clear when she speaks with you. Excellent care and excellent pain management. I would only go to Dr Augustine and highly recommend everyone go to her. Our entire family goes to her and is very happy

During a routine cleaning the hygienist Regina found that the crown over an implant was loose, I had not felt any movement in the crown. Another staff person confirmed the matter. Dr. Augustine was consulted, with the result that I have the chance to get this fixed early and with less damage to repair.

Dr. Augustine has done some fantastic work helping me restore my smile. She impresses me not only with her professional and technical skills, which are clearly evident, but she also astonishes me with her creative talent to ensure the tools of modern dentistry are turned into functional and aesthetic results for my teeth and smile. I am so glad she is my dentist. She is also surrounded by a wonderfully courteous and competent staff at Aspenwood which really makes this a superb dental resource!

On a Friday afternoon, I had a severely cracked tooth. Dr Augustine stayed late to do an emergency extraction. After healing, she also performed the implant. She does excellent work. I would highly recommend her.

I've seen Dr. Augustine twice and both times I received excellent care. And I'm not easily pleased. My wife is also a patient of Dr. Augustine and wouldn't consider anyone else. I'm a former auditor in the health care industry and require a high standard of care. I haven't been disappointed. Dr. Augustine is meticulous in her evaluations and generous with her time. I recommend her.

I had seen Dr. Augustine for years and she kept recommending crowning about three teeth. I wanted a second opinion, so I saw two other dentists that said the crowns were not necessary. So I switched dentists, but when my new dentist moved I went back to Dr. Augustine. This time I had an abscess that she didn't see on the x-ray. Another dentist looked at the same x-ray and saw immediately that the tooth was infected, but by this time it was too late to save the tooth. So if you want a dentist who recommends unnecessarily expensive work, but can't read an x-ray look no further.

Dr. Augustine really listened to me and helped me understand what was going to happen every step of the way. The hygienist was amazing too. Thanks Aspenwood Dental!

Always exceptional; from the front office staff to the best dentist I've had do work on me to the assistants. Everyone there is happy, helpful, pleasant and an expert in their position. I've been going to Dr. Augustine since shortly after she joined the practice having graduated from dental school (about 20 years ago + or-) and I always leave completely satisfied.

Dr. Augustine was amazing! She took the time to explain the procedure to me as well as any additional options that were available. During the procedure she took exceptional care ensuring I was comfortable and pain free. I have never had someone so caring and gentle during numbing.
