We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

I will not recommend Dr.Ricks to anyone. The charges are not disclosed until you get the bill and staff doesn't respond if you call about the bill. Their charges are extremely high because you are paying for what Dr.Ricks paid for her education. Dr.needs to do more thorough check up. You are also paying for Naperville high price location. There are so many other better options available in Naperville.

horrible experience & dishonest
Like the other reviews states only focuses on your money and does not do any work. staff Maya scheduled me 1/25/2023 for root canal retreatment told me CT scan $150 & my dental insurance should cover consulting with 2 Xray then staff Jaimyi called ask me to go on 1/19 instead and said Dr. Rick have enough time to do the retreatment after consulting, so I went on 1/19. Dr. Ricks did quickly check my tooth for 2mins & didn't give me chance to ask her 1 question and left to see another patient, claims she can't do the root canal retreatment & I have to go back to my dentist to remove crown which was totally different with her staff Jaimyi told me, but sure takes all the money. They keep on sent me the invoice including CT $150 I paid at their office on 1/19 & consulting + Xray fees that my insurance already paid them, but they still billed me for consulting & Xray. Very dishonest.

Do yourself a favor and AVOID AVOID AVOID. Like the other reviews states only focuses on your money and does not finish the work, staff failed to do their job and nobody follows up. My husband went to do a root canal which should have never been worked on and only completed half the work and claims work cannot be completed anymore but sure takes all the money and later wants to claim she can't work after their office reschedule us two times. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for a better experience. Would never recommend.

I was referred to Dr. Ricks from my dentist. I had to have two root canal procedures on the top and bottom left side of my gums. The receptionist was extremely nice and welcoming each time that I visit. Dr. Ricks is amazing. From the start, she tells you exactly what she is going to do even during the procedure. She answers every question you ask of her. She lets you know what should be done post procedures. I never been to a place that was very detailed and serious about their work. Dr. Ricks is extremely nice and care about her patients. She will have conversations with you, and it really got my mind off the procedure that quick. She gave me document instructions to read post procedure. Not only that Dr. Ricks was nice, made me feel very comfortable and knows her work. The staff assistance her were very nice as well. The staff there appear to love working there and that is a huge thing. Dr. Ricks done an extremely great job with the root canal procedure. I feel much bett

Had a root canal done by Dr. Ricks today. I was very pleased with Dr. Ricks, her assistant (Melissa), and everyone else in the office. My treatment was professional, efficient, and easily tolerated. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Ricks to anyone who needs an endodontist.

Dr. Ricks was amazing!! My tooth had cracked and my dentist was concerned that it couldn't be saved. Dr. Ricks ran some tests and believed she could save it. She did a root canal and it was a complicated situation, but she managed to save the tooth!! As the Doctor began working, I really felt comforted because she was very confident and composed. Root Canals are supposed to hurt, but they did a great job of alleviating almost all of the pain! I would definitely go back to Dr. Ricks if I need another root canal!

As an active practicing dentist for 25 years I have worked with a variety of specialists but never had work done myself. Dr. Ricks' office is easy to access. The person answering my call for an appointment was helpful, friendly, and efficient. I was not left waiting long before I was seen. I was sure I knew what tooth was a problem but Dr. Ricks to a lot of time to do several different tests to make sure exactly what we needed to do. The treatment was quick and painless. Amazing visit.

I highly recommend Dr Ricks and her staff if you ever need a root canal. Dr Ricks was able to fit me into her schedule when I called early in the morning as I had an uncomfortable abscess underneath one of my lower molars. She quickly diagnosed that I needed a root canal and a drain in order to alleviate the swelling. From start to finish, the process was painless. Dr Ricks proved to be professional, knowledgeable and empathetic. Her staff are wonderful, too!

I cracked my crown in 2012. I did nothing about it. In August 2016 this tooth began to hurt. I read reviews of this doctor and made an appointment. She did a root canal on me. When it was done I found out one of the roots couldn't be treated through the root canal because it wasn't accessible. Dr. Ricks told me that I needed an apicoectomy. After 7 months I decided to do it. I get my stitches out today and so far so good. I've no pain and we most likely saved my tooth. I'd totally recommend her.
