Dr. Laura Hays, DDS

I don't even know where to start with this. Back in 2017 I was going to Dr. Hays for dentistry. I had a huge issue with the person who handled billing at the time. They were money hungry, and left me with no choice, but to find a new dentist, and I'm so glad I left. Upon seeing my new dentist, I was left with about $2K worth of work due to Dr. Hays neglecting work on my teeth. Fast forward to today, my 86 year old grandmother lost her "temporary" top 5 teeth. Dr. Hays never told her they were "temporary" 5 years ago, and now she needs dentures, which is an astronomical cost. She doesn't have much money, and she's sick over this. None of this matters to Dr. Hays anymore, since she's retired, but I'd like for others to know the experience in this dental office. I currently go to Dr. Germaine in Bellmore and he's been amazing to all of us!

Too bad she sold her practice and retired. She was the best dentist I’ve ever known.

Doctor Hays and Pappas are professional and do an excellent job. Highly recommend them. The billing staff is rude and not looking out for patients at all. Receptionist is not well informed, unprofessional and rude.

Dr Hays is an amazing Dentist kind, considerate she listened to my concerns and was extremely gentle and professional. I couldn't be happier with the results we attained. I highly recommend Dr Hays.

She is the best dentist I have ever been to. Everyone in my family and friends use her,never have I ever heard anything but positive and lovely reports on her from all. She so considerate and kind. She is one a million ......

I love the dentist, but her billing staff is absolutely horrible. The main biller was very rude to me on the phone and lied about collecting deductibles. Very unprofessional.

NOT A GOOD ONE !!! BILLING DEPARTMENT TRIED TO RIP ME OFF !!! WHEN I WAS DONE WITH MY CLEANING AN X RAYS THE FRONT DESK TOLD ME MY CHARGES FOR TODAYS SERVICES WAS 197.00. I PAID 97 DOLLARS OF THE BILL AN THEY SUBMITTED THE BILL TO MY INSURANCE. MY INSURANCE PAID 20.00 DOLLARS SO THAT LEFT ME WITH A BALANCE OF 80.00 . I THEN STARTED TO RECIEVE BILLS FOR A LOT MORE AN WHEN I QUESTIONED IT THEY GOT NASTY WITH ME .SO BE CAREFUL WITH THAT OFFICE!!!!

I went with my 2 kids for the first time last week and I thought she was excellent. The whole staff was great. The hygienist was awesome and so informative. I would recommend this office to anyone and I'm glad we found a new dentist that we like.
