I've been a patient with Dr. Larry Suher DDS and his staff for somewhere close to 20 years. That alone should describe my experience with his practice and my faith in their skills and their treatment of me. Courteous, respectful, and highly competent are just a few of the words I'd use to describe what remains even today a quick, fearless, and pain-free trip to the dentist. During my first visit, (pre COVID) I was amazed at the amount of work he performed as he moved from room to room attending to and comforting patients. At 72, I've had dental problems all of my life and have seen perhaps six dentists. Combine the facts that my father had very misaligned teeth, and my next door grandparents owned a candy store, and you'll understand my condition. The thought of a dental appointment was something I've always dreaded until I visited Dr. Suher. In a time when we've come to expect poor service and mediocre results everywhere, Dr. Suher is the one shining light that stands out for me.

Former patient of Dr. Suher. Rude and condescending and always seemed to be in a hurry. I always felt I was keeping him from something he'd rather be doing. In one instance, he was so rough during a root canal that he fractured the adjoining tooth. When I'd naturally react to the pain he was causing, I'd get scolded like a child and told to sit still, as if my pain were an imposition to him. I was mocked for the condition of my teeth by one of his attending doctors; right to my face as if I were too simple to recognize the condescension. On another occasion, I was blatantly lied to about the cost of a procedure. The staff was generally friendly, but the attitude of the doctors was abysmal. I go to the dentist for help, not to be made fun of, put down and receive more damage than I came in with. My wife has nearly perfect teeth and even she's made to feel uncomfortable. Needles to say, no one in our family will go back to this dentist, nor friends who have asked for referrals.

I had such wonderful interactions with the staff and dental hygienists. On the other hand, Dr. Suher always seemed hurried and aloof. I saw him for a series of cavity fillings, all of which he seemed to rush through and was rough during the procedure. I have now had 3 fillings fall out and when he replaced 2 of them, he was just as rough and rushed and they've fallen out since. He was indignant that the fillings could've fallen out from normal flossing in the first place. Very unprofessional.

I'd give Dr. Suher a zero star rating if I could. He may be okay when the going's good, but he doesn't cope well when things go wrong. He promised me a good outcome but instead I experienced a nightmare. He told me the work would take two weeks and it took five (around the holidays!). I am sooo unhappy with my smile; three of my four front teeth (veneers) are darker than the rest. Promised me he'd make good on the poor job he did, and didn't. Rough and rude and all about the money. Stay away.

I had no discomfort or anything. Great experience. They got me in right away and I did not wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room.
