Dr. Kyle Hogg, DDS

Began seeing Dr. Hogg in Feb 2023. In Dec 2023 after nearly a year of multiple complicated procedures, with still some work left to do, i was suddenly dropped. No explanation. No referral. Several attempts to contact him (pmail, email). No response. Tried to make an appt. Not allowed. Finally In March i sent an email requesting either an appt or the return of the money i had paid for a bridge i never got. In late April his office phoned to say they were prepared to send me a check for the $5100.00 that i had paid for the bridge. No explanation. Dr. Hogg is a personable guy and an excellent dentist. If you are looking for a highly skilled dentist with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and procedures Dr. Hogg is your man. But, have a backup plan. Perhaps an appt with another dentist that you can keep rescheduling in case you are abandoned. Try not to pay for services in advance unless required. If you are abandoned it may take some time to get your money back.

I saw Dr. Hogg in June 2022 for a consult about dental implants. I was referred to him by another doctor who had forwarded the X-rays, bone scan & composite. Dr. Hogg took a couple additional X-rays & discussed starting the bone graft after Christmas. He told me he would put together a plan & mail it to me in approximately 2 to 3 weeks. After not hearing anything back for weeks on end, I called his office. They said he hadn’t updated anything yet & that he was behind. I said I would just check back later. After another 12 calls or so, I was getting very frustrated. I even left a voicemail for Dr. Hoog. Still nothing. I payed $90 for a consultation, more tests were done & billed to my insurance. I drove 4 hours each way for this appointment & have now waited nearly 7 months. I have seen 1st hand how unreliable this practice can be. I would not recommend them to anyone for that reason.
