Dr. Kenneth Garner, DDS

Dr. Garner is very knowledgeable and has always demonstrated a high regard for my dental care over the years. The office personnel are very friendly and accommodating.

If only I known the splint he put me in to ease my pain would create a bite that no longer functions and teeth that do not come together at all-& proposed "phase 2" was crowns and veneers for $55,000, grinding off all my perfectly healthy beautiful teeth, to try and bring my bite together (I RAN!). MRI from an oral surgeon showed severe joint degeneration, no disc in my fossa, and now I am getting total joint replacements plus upper jaw surgery to fix my open bite. Problem: joints not teeth.

It appears a patient will make a lifetime commitment for treatment of TMJ which can become very costly. I should've asked more questions up front as I didn't anticipate continuous out of pocket expenses for adjustments. Sometimes the misalignment of my teeth was actually worse than the jaw pain I was experiencing when I first started with Dr. Garner. Don't feel like he always listened to my issues and he was too concerned with the cosmetic look of the teeth.
