Dr. Kenneth Brossel, DDS

I was a long time patient of Dr. Brossel [15 years]. He is a great dentist but his office staff is terrible. He's got one lady that deals with billing that is so incredibly rude its not even worth coming back to this office anymore. She didn't understand how my insurance handled payment [I am supposed to pay upfront and then they send me a check] and I was just getting familiar with this process because it was new to me as well. She accused me of stealing their money and was a complete nightmare to speak to. I have gone elsewhere and have told everyone I know to just look elsewhere for a dentist office.

We were literally insulted by office staff over a bill that had been paid, but not recorded. We were told "you don't pay your bills and collecting from you is like pulling teeth", despite the fact that the bill had been paid months ago, and we provided documentation. We are changing dentists because of the way they treat people.

Had a temp crown done in Nov, but started having pain b4 the perm crown was ready & needed a root canal. Before I could have it, I broke my ankle. Told them of my accident, but still got emails pushing me to go in. Told them I was in pain, but was told that I HAD to get the crown seated b4 the end of the year. I wasn't in pain from the tooth anymore & really wanted to get the root canal done first. However, I relented & made an appt for Dec which I ended up having to cancel. Fast forward to Jan 12th. I hadn't contacted them b/c of pain from my ankle surgery. I get an email the office manager berating me for not contacting them yet. It was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. This one was one step too far. I wrote her an email telling her as much and also to not contact me again. She didn't even respect me enough to abide by wishes & replied to my email telling me that I WOULD be coming in to get the seating done & am free to change dentists only after that. Will not be back.
