My quality of care was excellent for the first 20 months of care. When it was time for my braces to be removed, I began having problems. At my previous appointment, I had decided that I would get the metal retainer. Day of braces removal, the assistant examined my mouth, removed my braces, explained to me about the free, permanent retainer that goes behind the two front teeth. I asked her will I have any problem (with plastic part hitting the permanent retainer). There would be no problem. She proceeded to place the adhesive on the back of my two front and realized she wasnt suppose to do that right yet. She wiped it off. I went to the.front to handle business and then she continued (reapplying the adhesive and permanent retainer). It was mentioned to me that my metal retainer would be ready in about a week and it would be shipped to me because I live 13 hours away. It took me almost 3 weeks to receive my retainer. My mouth was getting sore so my teeth must have been shifting.I called

Adult braces, did my research and thought I had made the right decision on my orthodontist......WRONG!!! This experience has not been the worst. Had to have braces removed and replaced within two days time, haven't been able to chew food entirely since getting the braces on and I'm still having issues. Shame I cannot change orthodontist.

I'm so lucky to have found Dr. Hodges! My case was especially difficult, yet she took me on. (I suspect she likes a challenge!). She and her competent staff handled every step of the process with expertise, explanation, and kindness. I always felt confident in her chair and wow, did she deliver: my teeth are nice and straight, my bite is perfectly aligned, and my smile is killer! I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Hodges and her staff for all things "ortho".
