Dr. Kelley Downs, DDS

Came in. Didn't introduce self. Went right to work. Administered nitrous oxide to my daughter. Informed me treatment would be terminated at any point if it became dangerous to her or her assistant. My daughter was super good and didn't flinch or complain when getting the numbing shots. Before Dr. Downs got ready to pull the tooth, her assistant told my daughter to raise her hand if anything was uncomfortable. Dr. Downs started tugging on it and my daughter tried to put her hand up and the assistant pushed it down twice as the doctor continued and daughter starts crying but not moving other than her hand raise. I speak up and say 'Hey, y'all need to stop.' A few moments later the dentist stops. She says the tooth is out and that she will not be putting in spacer today because my daughter didn't take treatment well. She goes on to say that if my daughter ever needs treatment again involving shots, she will need anesthesia and that she was not in pain during the extraction.
