Dr. Julio Espinoza, DDS

My mother had a bridge implanted and it broke a year later. She is not particularly aggressive and she takes care of her teeth. He charged her twice for the same operation. It was clearly his mistake as bridges are expected to last a minimum of 5 years. The staff hanged up on her and shouted her down, making it feel as though it was her fault. This practice should be shut down and Dr. Espinoza should not be allowed to touch another human being. Dr. Espinoza takes advantage of people after performing bad dental work. It’s a shame.

D. Espinoza is a poor communicator. He put in old style replacement crown on two lower teeth and then ground them down very close to the metal. I wasn’t told of the option of having newer crowns put in without metal. He recommended a lower wisdom tooth be extracted without saying one word about how lower wisdom teeth can be tough to extract or one word about the recovery period. I was shocked to find out as the tooth was being extracted that it would not come out easily and just as shocked as to the discomfort I felt for days afterwards. He also filled a small cavity and told me about it after the procedure which surprised me especially when I looked in the mirror to see a old style grey filling as he never gave me the option of having a tooth colored filling. I could not recommend this dentist to anyone.
