Dr. Joseph Proscia, DDS

Should not be accepting new patients! Can’t handle the ones he has. He commits for out of pocket or partially covered services to pad his wallet but cancels everything else repeatedly until you give up. Definitely a greedy dentist! The accountant is romantically involved with the dentist so good luck getting anywhere with billing discrepancies with insurance coding.

I went to Dr. Proscia for a dental implant. I have very good dental insurance however everything was not covered. The dental work performed by Dr. Proscia was adequate, although I don't beleive he has much experience with this procedure. The main problem was with the accounting woman. I was told an additional $400 was needed to complete the procedure, which I paid. (I had already paid a total of $2400 out of pocket). On the next visit she asked for another $400, which I questioned. In a short time, despite my attempts to negotiate, she filed the disputed amount with a collection agency. Also, during the pandemic, no one was wearing masks. I have since changed Dentists and have had a much better outcome and experience. I do not recommend Dr. Proscia's office.

I needed to replace a crown that had broken. I went to two dentists to inquire about the crown. Since the crown was fused to another crown in the next tooth the first dentist told me I had to have two crowns replaced. I then went to Dr. Proscia. He replace only one crown (he cut them apart). He charged me a third of the price the other dentist was going to charge me. Both dentists accepted my dental discount plan. It's been over a month since my work and all is very well. Dr&staff very good.

I needed two crowns, and I don't like dentists. However, my experience with this office was different than others. I was at ease, felt like I was getting great care and my anxiety level went down. Not sure what that was all about, maybe just the vibe of the place created by the people who work there.and the music.

I just had my first visit with Dr. Proscia. I am so happy with his expertise. I am 71 with excellent teeth. what I liked the most was the fact he didn't try to sell me services I didn't need. I have all 4 wisdom teeth with the bottom 2 showing. He understood me and they were in excellent shape. The x-rays were the most thorough ever and he did the exam and cleaning and polishing himself. I was so impressed with how white my teeth was, I have setup for him to polish them once a month. Thanks.

I dont know why anyone would give Dr Proscia anything less than 5 stars. He is an incredibly caring and talented dentist. The staff is amazing also. When I moved to Naples, I went to 3 different dentists before finding Dr Proscia. He was the only one who treated me as a person and not a number. I cant say enough great things about Dr Proscia and his staff

The dentist immediately made me feel at ease. He was so friendly and relaxed which made me feel the same way.

I had a great experience with doctor Proscria and his staff. He is very thorough and painless and made me very comfortable. Wendy was a huge help with my insurance and does all she can to make it easy for the patient. I highly recommend Dr. Proscia.
