Dr. Jonathan Thomas, DDS

My uncle had some wotk done less than a year ago and he needed a regular cleaning. He had to wait six months from calling to get in for his appointment. Once he went in they charged him $160 for xrays and an exam. They said they would not clean his teeth since they wanted hi to come back for a deep cleaning that would cost $750. This is the same scam a lot of the Maui dentists pull on their customers. I have personally had the same experience just to be told by my dentist in CA that my teeth were great and there was nothing there to warrant a deep cleaning. Find an honest dentist!

I spent a lot of time with him and his staff -money well spent.

I had implants insulation yesterday at 2:30 pm, I’m now writing this 24 hrs later, no pain whatsoever. The entire procedure was comfortable. If you are thinking of implants, contact this DDS. Jonathan Thomas.

Dr. Thomas and his staff are very professional. I appreciated the most that I was given clear instructions after getting a tooth pulled, what I needed to watch out for, etc. He is filling the shoes of Dr. Shimakawa - that was my dentist for 23 years until he retired. He spent several years continuing to work, rather than retiring, until he could find a person that he felt would do a good job. I am happy with his decision.

Begins at the time of the phone call for an appointment, so helpful on the phone, arrival the good vibes continued, wonderful people in the office, and meeting Dr. Thomas, it was instant friendship. The entire experience was 10/10.

While visiting the island I needed to have some work done on my teeth. His office and techniques are state of the art and better than what I have at home area. His staff was very courteous and friendly, while also being very professional. If I ever need a dentist again while in Maui, I'll go see him again. I'd recommend him for anyone who want gentle but professional dental care.

Dr. Thomas is an artist as well as a dentist and it shows in his beautiful work. He is very gentle and caring, making the entire dental experience enjoyable. His staff is wonderful as well. There is a pleasant, positive, professional feel to the office that immediately puts one at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Thomas and will trust no one else with my dental work.
