Dr. John Wedin, DDS

Dr. Wedin is the best dentist i have ever seen he treats me and my family perfectly and is always gentle and very kind. He is always willing to do what the patient wants if it is possible to be done and if its not he will let you know I have had tons of fillings done by him a root canal as well as cleanings, have been going to him for 4 years now. Only regret is having not used him sooner than i did.

Not good. Just wanted to get through it and leave. He was inconsiderate toward me. I told him about my problem with shots and what they do to me, he patted my shoulder and told me it would be fine. He doesn't know my medical history with the neurologist. I'm to have nitro before my shots, he didn't care nothing about what I said. So, I went ahead and got my tooth fixed and the bad part is, he didn't leave enough space between my teeth to floss. So, I'm sure I'm going to get an infection between my teeth. I don't like him, I don't like how he treated me with disrespect or his assistant. All she did was avoid me and stared at Dr. Wedin the whole time, she wasn't comforting me in any way. The only nice person is the receptionist. I'm not going back to him. If he can't be professional and treat his patients with respect then he is in the wrong profession. I don't recommend this dentist, he may be good at cleaning teeth but, leave the major dental work for another dentist.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Very rough with kids, but sensitive to people/children with disabilities. My kid is still crying about how rough Wedin handled him and the harsh things he said to my kid, who has learning disabilities. They have been reported!

Very poor bedside manner, took my 6 year old son in and immediately started trying to man handle him to get the gas started my son who has sensory issues started to freak out he then proceeds to tell my son and wife off saying he's to big to be acting the way he was. Just all in all a ver bad experience.

Excellent dentist and TOP NOTCH staff. It's always a joy to visit the dentist when the envirornment is so upbeat and fun, well worth our drive from Abilene.
