Dr. John Spurr, DDS

I should have checked Dr. Spurs reviews before choosing this dental office, his rating is barely a 2.5 maybe I could have avoided the poor experience I had! I was given services this office knew my insurance would not cover. I was never told in advance, it was never suggested that I wait 2 months for this non emergency X-ray until I was eligible for my insurance to fully 100% cover. Dr Spurr was fully aware of how mislead I felt by his staff, he was complicit with their actions and he showed it by his non action to rectify the situation. I disputed these charges through my bank and was fully credited for this charge!!!

Said I had gum disease and wanted to charge thousands for scaling and planing for life. Went to periodontist w/o his referral and that dr. told me I do not have gum disease. They then ignored all calls questioning his diagnosis. Absolutely appalled and disturbed by experience.

They got me right in and did a wonderful job. Staff is very friendly.

Not great! Dr. Spurr was not considerate towards me at all. The staff readily chose not to put patient comfort first and it's an office I personally would not return to.

Big fan of this office - Doctor and staff are always friendly, prompt and professional.

If you have sensitive teeth or anxiety about going to the dentist don't bother going here. I warned them about my sensitivity and concerns and they reassured me it would be ok. Once they started they kept telling me to stop moving and I told them I could feel everything and it was bothering me. They didn't do anything to help me and they continued to get upset that I wouldn't cooperate (because it hurt). After they were done the Dr. said "she's to difficult" and got up and left.
