I had Dr. McMahon for many years and totally trusted him. Then I lost my dental insurance and couldn't afford him. Right before I lost the insurance he replaced 4 fillings. 5 years later I saw a new dentist and x-rays and photos showed the 4 fillings he replaced were only partially drilled out. There were still some of the silver filling in all 4 teeth. Now I need to have all 4 replaced as there are gaps where air and bacteria is getting in. I'm so disappointed.

Worst experience ever. They did not take care of my teeth. I had the best insurance and they ignored many cracked teeth and issues I had!

Dr. MCMahon always takes time to explain what he recommends and why. I really appreciated his offer to fill the small chip on this visit instead of having to come back later. Easily taken care of and prevents a future cavity. Good visit. Thank you!

Overall I'm pleased with the service I receive at this office. My biggest concern is the 15 minute discussion regarding the upsells on blood pressure and sleep apnea. I go to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned, and I go see other doctors for other concerns. Each time I have to refuse to let them test my blood pressure (the one time I did it was grossly inaccurate), then I get the sales pitch on sleep apnea devices. My other drs don't try to sell me dental services. I wish my dentist had the

Did not like new method of cleaning teeth . I am cold sensitive and found it painful and very messy. Also left with teeth not feeling as clean as the old way. Teeth felt smoother and not as abrasive to my tongue on the back side of my front teeth with the old way. I would not recommend this cleaning method.

I've been with Mr. McMahon for 21 years and still refuse to go to any other dentist, even when I moved more than 20 minutes from the office (I used to be local to Jenison). They just have the most friendly and understanding staff, the remodel done several years ago really updated the experience, and all new and improved tools and systems. I have had nothing but painless experiences from here (which says a lot for some people who hate the dentist).
