Dr. John Harmeyer, DDS

Been going to Dr Harmeyer for over a year now ,needed a new dentist after relocating to Ohio. Things were going really well until an implant that he put in about 6 weeks ago broke. Made an appointment and he did that reimplant and wanted $600 to fix. The implant was fine until I had follow up X-rays done 4 days before that implant fell out. After I refused to pay, he immediately transferred me to another dental practice. My thought was 'Wow, talk about being a professional'.

We were seeking a new family dentist and Bellbrook Family was recommended to us by an oral surgeon. However, even though Greene County and Montgomery County are both currently rated as "High" COVID-19 Transmission counties and there are recommended indoor public mask requirements again, Bellbrook Family refused to inform us of even just their general overall vaccination status of the staff there, which must imply there are staff who are not vaccinated. This has forced us to choose a different recommended dentist office where that other dentist's staff is proud to tell us they are all vaccinated, plus the other dentist proudly maintains extra COVID-19 protocols for everyone's health and safety during August 2021 of this Global Pandemic. Maybe we’ll consider Bellbrook Family someday, but we’re not going there right now for sure!

Referred to this dentist to have a broken tooth fixed. The office never attempted to get information from my previous dentist, because I do not numb in a typical fashion. I hopped on the phone to try to get the information before they began. Dr. Harmeyer informed me that I made him "Tense" and we were not a good fit. Trying to make sure I am not in agony makes me a bad fit? I quite agree.
