Dr. John Drop, DMD

Dr. Drop is a very nice and carefully considers his recommendations. Staff are always friendly and professional. Cleanings are very thorough. The office is really nice and very well done. Highly recommend.

Staff was knowledgeable. The wait time was minimal. Dr. Drop was very kind and put me at ease when I had a cavity filled. The office is BEAUTIFUL. Dr. Drop def knows what he is doing.

I was scheduled for a cleaning with a hygienist that I trusted 6 month and yearly mark. I was put with a staff that I didn’t know . The other was working that day so I questioned the one I got with about who she was and that I didn’t schedule with her. I declined the yearly X-ray and she said That I couldn’t get cleaning without it.She would need to check with Dr drop to get approval to proceed. What? I’m the patient! I don’t know how some say he is great because after he does mouth check he says he’s going to “watch teeth” that have a small indication of decay . He “ watches” the teeth until they require larger fillings and most of the time the filling falls out within 6 months to a year.,I kept trying to give him redemption When he didn’t carry an insurance and I explained I might have to go elsewhere he refused to put a cap on a tooth that was root canaled and he was involved in referral to endo and perio. He basically had a temper tantrum and cancelled appt.

I think Dr. Drop is a great dentist. However, the office is terrible and handles customers terribly. they would cancel appointments for my family out of the blue and rescheduling would be in a few months. And extremely rude and accusatory if you deal with them on the phone. Leave that experience out of your life -- there are really good dentists in Hershey!

Dr. Drop thorough dentist. However if you have to cancel without giving them 24 hours, they will charge you a late fee. I had a family emergency with my child and his front desk staff were understanding but then sent me a bill of 35.00 dollars. Been going to him for years and this is the first time I’ve had to cancel within the 24 hour policy. The secretaries are snarky & cold. Plenty of other options in the area of good dentists, as to not deal with such a rigid cancellation policy.
