Dr. Jody Schilling, DDS

My experience has been excellent at Dr. Schilling's office for the past few years. The hygienist, Shannon, is top notch and Dr. Schilling is smart, efficient, and she runs a tight ship. The office is clean and inviting and the pricing is explained up front. She has done periodontal surgery on my gums and it has been very successful. The explanations are easy to understand and I am very happy with Dr. Schillings's office.

I’ve had several visits to Dr. Shilling’s Office in the past, none of which were cheap. Money is required up front, paid in full prior to the procedure, even with proof of Dental Insurance. Ok, fine. I was told that a claim would be submitted after the procedure(s) and that I would be reimbursed for what the Dental Insurance covers. Ok, not ideal, but this works, because I thought I would likely be getting some of my money back. There was never a claim filed, even though I was told there was and when I confronted Dr. Shilling, she stated she would “re-file” it. I called my Insurance Company multiple times, they said she never filed a claim. I’ve had multiple appointments, there should’ve been multiple claims filed…but not 1 claim was filed. Dr. Shilling’s Office stopped answering my calls and refused to respond to my messages left pertaining to this matter. What does she care, she got her money, right?Don’t trust this one!

After you have paid them up front in cash for your work, they lie and tell you they will file reimbursement claims with your insurance. But they won't. They are COMPLETELY unresponsive to phone calls. I have only ever received a return phone call when I left a message that I wanted to book an appointment as a new patient. Otherwise, if you call them, don't expect anyone to ever pick up or return your messages.
