Dr. Hurst and his staff are amazing! I have been bringing our son to his practice since we moved to Vestavia, and we are incredibly grateful for his top-notch services! He is kind and very accommodating. When our son fell, hitting his mouth on the floor while playing, Dr. Hurst made provision for us to be seen first thing the next day. We highly recommend Dr. Hurst!

Dr Hurst was great to fit us in when my son had tooth pain and his regular dentist was out of town. He took X-rays and reassured us that the pain was not an acute problem, just a sign of incoming wisdom teeth that could be scheduled to be removed later.

Dr. Hurst has been great with my son. He broke a front tooth when he was 9 months old.

My 2 children saw Dr Hurst from their first dental visit until they were in their upper teen years. He was always very informative, very nice and did a great job with them. He is super patient and very thorough. Their teeth were very healthy thanks to the great care they received. Highly recommend Dr Hurst.

Dr Hurst and his staff are amazing! They are a blessing and the most patient and kind dental staff in Birmingham. My son has autism. I have tried 5 different pediatric dentist who said they were special needs providers - and they were not. Dr Hurst and his staff truly are a special needs staff. They do everything in their power to make my child feel comfortable and for the experience to be positive. My son loves going to the dentist now. They are a must for anyone looking for a pediatric dentist

Doctor and staff were wonderful. If you are looking for new dentist, I would highly recommend Dr. Hurst. He is gentle with patients. Explains all to parents.

Dr Hurst and his staff are AWESOME! My son has high functioning autism and Dr Hurst and everyone in the office were so attentive to his special needs. I would highly recommend him for a great pediatric dentist.

Wonderfully personable staff. Flexible scheduling. Minimum wait. Excellent service. Dr. Hurst is very knowledgeable, extremely trustworthy (he recommends what is needed but never more than is needed), and has years of experience. My children feel comfortable with these visits! The consistency is top notch. I know what I am going to get each time because it never fluctuates. A+

great doc. great staff. Joby and his team have gotten us through a traumatic mouth injury as well as years of general dental checkups. Only thing I'd change is , as the child grows, more emphasis on the child having responsibility for their own mouth health and cleaning and less emphasis on it being the parent's responsibility.

Very friendly and understands how to talk to children without talking down to them.

Both of my son see Dr.Hurst for their dental exams. We LOVE him! He is so kind and really cares about his patients. His staff goes above and beyond to make sure your children are happy and not anxious. I would refer anyone to his practice!

Dr.Hurst is always efficient and kind. My sons previous dentist was not meant to work with kids. He frightened my child. But, Dr.Hurst has changed that fear. His nurses are reassuring and clean. The office is nicely ran and never long waits. I recommend him, highly recommend.
