Dr.Ervil was very knowledgeable and knew how to explain everything for people like me (0 medical knowledge). He banished my uneasiness before the procedure. Wish he was at every facility that I'll ever go to. He even let my spouse pray with me before I was put to sleep. A real stand up guy!

Dr. Ervil took his time to explain to myself and my child just how the day of the procedure would go. He never became frustrated nor was he short with me when asking a multitude of questions; which made me as a parent very comfortable. He is extremely knowledgeable in his career. In addition his demeanor will make you feel as if you are in the presence of someone you’ve known for a lifetime! Dr. Ervil has very poor communication and bedside manner for a trained and educated Dr. As his patient, a 6 year old who fasted the 12 hours and an additional 4 while awaiting his services in office only to be dismissed from the office. I mentioned the extensive wait to Dr. Ervil and he followed with “ do you want to argue or hear about the procedure”. I stated “ I’m not arguing” which was not the right response for him because he then excused himself and informed his staff that he would not be performing the procedure on his 6 year old patient that fasted to the point of atrophy because I “was being argumentative”. I was so baffled I left questioning what constitutes an argument. I even had to ask the secretary the reason for the dismissal. In any event it’s negligent of the doctor because the patient is left to cope with dental pain and discomfort because Dr. Ervil was offended that I mentioned the 4 hour wait. I waited because the patient was my priority. Dr. Ervil chose not to perf

Dr Ervil dismissed a 6 year old patient from his office after the parent expressed contempt regarding the 4 hour office wait during her 12 hour fast required for anesthesia services. Because the wait was so extensive the fast was brought to 16 hours and put her body went into atrophy. When it was expressed that the wait was extensive Dr. Ervil stated, do you want to argue or hear about the procedure. I stated I’m not arguing which I would regret saying instead of “hear about the procedure” because he informed his secretarial staff that he would not perform the procedure after having her fast from 10pm the night prior. The appointment was scheduled for 1 pm and when we were dismissed even the staff was going home. For his patient it was a missed day of school as well as her having to cope with the dental pain until the next appointment which is only once a month. And if the schedule is full you have to wait until the following month. That was my experience with Dr. Ervil. Proper bedside manner and ability to communicate and understand common folk in need of basic health services would have led to proper resolution. I didn’t even mention I said the same thing to the doctor who came in before him and he apologized for the wait and stated let’s her her taken care of so she can eat. I know she’s hungry. That was all I just wanted that validation that the wait was extensive for a child that had to fast. Overall I think that I waited all that time because the child was my priority and he didn’t even treat her because his emotions were his priority- even though he was at work getting paid a $900 out of pocket fee to treat her.
