Very Honest
I came to this practice after a Green Hills dentist lied about my needing a crown on a tooth. I sought a 2nd opinion about that from a different dentist-not Dr. Elliott. Turned out I didn’t need a crown. I visited the 2nd opinion doctor but the drive was over 30 minutes and after 2 years, I wasn’t interested in going that far and her practice had changed. A friend recommended Dr. Elliott and I have been extremely pleased. He is quite thoughtful in his approach and has never pushed unnecessary work on me.

Save your self the pain, hassle, and money
I was a patient of Dr. Lunn's since I was a child!!!!! Before Dr. Lunn officially retired, and Dr. Elliott was seeing his patients; I was one of the unfortunate ones that received his care. I was told I needed a root canal. He preformed the root canal, paralyzed my face for a week in the process (to which I was told "this can happen sometimes"), and the tooth became infected. I was placed on a antibiotic, and came back for my permanent crown to be put on. After this horrific experience I sought out another dental office. Never in the YEARS I went to this practice did Dr. Lunn or any staff member paralyze my face or any of my family members. The new Dr. informed me of the poor quality of work I had done, and low and behold I've had to get another root canal in the same tooth. I've had my teeth x-rayed many times and each time this tooth is questioned and staff have very puzzling looks on their faces. My original work cost me over $1,000 and has been nothing but trouble ever since.

I was referred to Dr. Elliott after a horrible experience with a Smile Generation office. The dentist with Smile Generation told me that I needed expensive procedures on my teeth including a bone graft, bridge, crowns, and expensive recurring periomaintenance. To make matters worse, they told me I had an infection in my tooth and refused to prescribe me an antibiotic and pushed me to agree to the expensive procedure to alleviate the pain. I went to Dr. Elliot for a second opinion and found out that the tooth did NOT need to be extracted, and didn't even need a root canal! I only had a cavity forming under my existing metal filling and needed a ceramic crown. He also let me know that my perio health was fine! He quoted me a reasonable price and was extremely friendly and honest about my dental needs. Not only does Dr. Elliott have integrity, but his entire staff was kind and transparent.

I have been a longtime patient of Dr. Elliott’s and used to be really happy with him. Until I no longer had dental insurance. Then everything changed. I was treated differently, they wouldn’t work with me no matter how much pain I was in. Despite the fact that all my bills have always been paid in full and never late. They make you come in over nonsense so they can charge you $250 for x-rays you don’t need. I’ve probably spent over $100,000 out of pocket throughout the years there. Yet, I’m treated like I am beneath them because I can’t pay for everything up front. Every time I’m quoted something, it’s always in the five figure range. It’s a real shame because Dr. Lunn was the best. Not to mention the fact, he works on several patients at once. So, he is popping in and out of rooms in the middle of procedures!

I am super bummed my insurance is not being accepted by them anymore, because this is the only dentist I want to see. They are always really upfront with what you need and what is elective, how long you could wait before something is a problem, they're super nice and the whole staff is wonderful. Dr Elliott is super personable and I really don't want to go anywhere else so I'm considering changing insurance just so I can see him.

Dr. Elliot makes his decisions based on how much he can charge insurance and patients. He does not answer questions about dental procedures. After seeing him for months, I went to a different professional who advised Dr. Elliot's work was done poorly and that he had scrapped my dentin. Save your time and money! Avoid!
