Dr. Jennifer Alston-Sako, DDS

My mother had an initial consultation with Jennifer Alston-Sako regarding new dentures. My mother was fitted with new dentures that were ill fitting and the wrong color. My mother expressed her concerns with the dentist but she was ignored. A few weeks later and dissatisfied with the first set of dentures, my mother had a second appointment with Alston-Sako and this is when the appointment went south. My mother was treated HORRIBLY! The dentist was rude, rough, unprofessional and unkind towards my mother. During the second fitting, my mother was placed and reclined backwards in the dental chair and subjected to a foul and thick molding substance that was placed in her mouth. This reclined position along with the impression process for the dentures resulted in my mother to violently vomit in the chair. During this process my mother stated Alston-Sako was aggressive and unsympathetic. My mother stated the dentist vacated the exam without giving her an apology.

Not only rude & never introduced herself, but diagnosis & treatment plan were completely incorrect as confirmed by two other competent dentist. She wanted to pull out implants (they would have to surgically removed) and put in a set of cheap “chicklet” looking teeth. The treatment plan was written on sticky notes and was also was totally incorrect. I wasted 100 and cried all night. I went the next day and got additional opinions that were cheaper, better quality and not as invasive or painful as the treatment plan she suggested. I will be turning her in to the dental review board…so thankful I went somewhere else.

My mother is very pleased with the service that she received. She had two teeth extracted in anticipation of having dentures implanted. The dentist was efficient and kind. My mother had minimal bleeding and pain during and after the procedure.
