My family has been visiting Dr. Gaffney for a few years now. He is warm, knowledgeable, and skilled. I have my share of dental needs and I always feel like I am being well cared for by Dr. Gaffney and his team at Des Peres Dentistry.

I am pulling my family out of this practice. You trust people who make good judgements as a care giver. I understand your position of seeing only existing patients and those that are in pain. But your refusal to see my son who is recovering from strep throat and tonsillitis and now has a severe gum infection show poor judgement. Especially based upon a policy of you are doing no deep gum cleanings. Again I support that as part of regularly scheduled routine maintenance. But not as an answer to a young man in pain so bad he can't eat and gums swollen so bad he can't close his mouth. I no longer trust your judgements Dr Gaffney.
