Dr. Jeff Johnston, DDS

I really wanted to stay with this practice but after a couple time it was not for me. He has zero personality and doesn’t talk or explain things. He doesn’t even greet the patient or say good bye when he’s done. He seems very unhappy with his job and uncomfortable around people. He doesn’t put you at ease at all. His assistant on the other hand, is way too chatty and tries to compensate for his uncomfortable silence. He might be very skilled but I didn’t have a lot of work done. I do like his fancy machine to make a same day crown in office. That is a plus. I’ve walked by his office frequently over the years and see a lot of change in staff in there. In my opinion, you should look elsewhere.

I am 77 years old and have had many different dentists as I moved around the country. Dr. Jeff has been my dentist for 9 years and during this time I have had almost every dental procedure possible. All of the work Dr. Jeff did was superlative in every way. He was very careful to explain my options in each case and never pushed me to have the more expensive solution. He has the latest technology and is certified in so many different skills that all work can usually be done in one visit. He has a CT Scanner for a 3D view of your total jaw and a 3D printer so crowns are made and installed in one visit. He goes to great lengths to make you feel comfortable in the chair and has a wonderful staff to assist him. I highly recommend Dr. Jeff. He is a well-trained, caring, and skilled dentist. You will not be disappointed.

Ascent Dental Group doesn't care about their patients! They will rob you! Beware - they will not support you or advocate for you. It took their office 15 months to submit a claim to my insurance, and since they didn't submit it within 12 months from the date of service the insurance won't pay, and they are claiming now that I am responsible to pay even though it was THEIR OFFICE ERROR the resulted in the claim not being paid.
