Dr. Jason Moffitt, DDS

Dr. Jason and his staff have treated my family with exceptional care. I like how friendly everyone is. I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else. He's the best.

Dr Moffitt and the staff were always extremely nice. I took my daughter there until she was 4. We changed dentists because she had a small cavity on the surface of a tooth. The plan was to put crowns on all 4 front teeth for 1 cavity "to make her front teeth look even". She was on state insurance (word is some places do as much work as possible to get the biggest pay). I looked for a second opinion and it turned out to be a small, easy fix to the one tooth that needed it. She had a few things done there before we switched, makes me wonder how much of it she really needed.

I hate to give anyone a bad review, but based on our family's experience with Moffitt Children's Dentistry, I can't give a good one. Our three children saw Moffitt for their entire childhoods. When they had cavities, the resulting dental work was very spotty. In one instance where one son was sent home with a filling so jagged that it tore the inside of his mouth until it bled. Of course, it was a Friday afternoon and he had to suck it up for a whole weekend. That same son recently had to have a root canal on a different tooth because Dr. Moffitt drilled too far into a tooth when doing a filling, hit the root and killed the tooth. The new dentist he sees said it was the original dentist's error that caused the tooth to die. Another child, now in the military, has to have a couple of teeth worked on to repair poor dental work done by Moffitt's office. The people are nice, and we really liked Dr. Moffitt, but the quality of the work just isn't there.
