I've had root canals with several endodontists unfortunately but the least awful or most comfortable ones have been with Dr. G.

This is the ONLY doctor I have ever gone to where the root canal was done properly. I suspect that is due to his extensive experience, top-notch training and, most importantly, the care and time he takes. He never rushes the appointment, and is extremely thorough. He also explains exactly what he is doing through each step of the process. Highly recommend.

I pray I never need another root canal, but if I do, Dr. G is the guy to go to! He’s patient, thorough, and he makes sure you feel comfortable and safe. He explains what he’s going to do and tells you about the noises you’ll be hearing (I was extremely anxious). He ensured I was numb and kept checking that and adding when needed throughout the process. It went faster than I expected and I felt fine today, which is the day after the procedure. I highly recommend him.

My first root canal. Based on what I had heard about root canals, I was a bit concerned about how tortuous a process this would be. Surprise! It went easier than a routine cleaning at my regular dentist! After taking an xray and explaining why I would need a root canal, he told me everything he was going to do. His numbing of the area was a breeze compared with prior experiences with my regular dentist. The surface numbing was so good that I hardly noticed the 3 injections, which were performed very quickly. And boy was the area numb! His drilling through a crown down to the root went very quickly (I expected much longer). The drill was quiet - very calming for me! He respectfully let me "relax" my open jaw muscles frequently - something my own dentist should learn to do! He told me each step before starting. While it was hard to chew on that side the rest of the day, and only soft food, by the next day I could eat normally again - no pain! Dr G is "real good"!
