I take my three boys to Dr. Porter. The staff is very kind and professional. One of my boys has autism and one has sensory issues. The staff worked kindly and efficiently with my autistic son so he wouldn’t have a fit. My other son doesn’t like the grit of the prophy paste and the assistant used something without grit to make sure he was comfortable. Great experiences and my kids love going to the dentist now!

The office management is in need of a major overall. Not one person in this 'dental' office tried to help me OR tell me the potential costs! The staff are not customer friendly at all. Lofton Creek Smiles does not care about their patients' health! If they did they would:1. Ask for ins info at time of Scheduling2. Provide online portal (to submit paperwork after Scheduling to obtain insurance info)3. Tell prospective patients they dropped their dental insurance (if it was ever accepted)3. Not change patients appointment time without asking - the day of !4. Not wait until the patient is sitting in the chair to claim x-rays must be done prior to cleaning even though patient is leaving the practice because they don’t accept insurance. Does this dentist like her patients to be over x-rayed? So nice of her to think about her patients radiation levels. 5. Not act like it’s an everyday occurrence when patients leave without treatment

Scheduled an appointment with this "provider" and they canceled the day before my visit and said they weren't a provider and was "out of network" when they're listed in network.

From the front to the back the environment is happy. I moved from Penn after the pandemic and I have never been part of an office that the doctor took the time to really get to know you. My crowns look and feel great and I felt like I was an old friend by the time I left. My insurance was filed properly which my last office struggled with and I even saved money because they were in my network. Beautiful work and great atmosphere.

Dr. Porter not only did an amazing job with all of my treatment, but I felt no judgement in the process. I hadn’t been to the entity is years. There were many options given, risks and benefits explained as well as no pressure to go and talk to my husband first and call back before I made a decision. Locally owned and not a corporate office and this shows and I know because I tried one down the road with great reviews but little did I know what was coming my way. You will not regret being part of this office. Highly recommend Dr.Porter!

Dr porter had her assistant do a crown and a bridge. There was v/ little supervision on porters part. This was over $9000.00. I had to have 2 of these teeth removed bc there was no contact with bottom teeth rendering them useless. During the process she chipped a tooth & when I reported it to her, she blamed it on me. Extremely unprofessional. Will never go back & I share my experience with people who ask me for recommendations on dentists.

Dr. Porter and the staff at Lofton Creek are above and beyond the most helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, hard working and all around fantastic group of people I could have ever asked for when looking for a dentist to handle the long overdue work I needed to have done. They are honest and fair most importantly. You will be hard pressed to find a better dentist and staff ANYWHERE! Make your mouth happy and have it be a pleasure to go the dentist! We moved here from Maine and we had a fantastic experience at Lofton Creek Smiles. Dr.Porter and her team were exceptional. My bridge needed work as one of my teeth that supported the bridge had a cavity and needed to come out. She was able to remove the older bridge and the bad tooth underneath and then make me a new bridge that looks great as it is in the front of my mouth. She educated me on my options but didn't try to sell the most expensive options like other offices but rather let me hear the options and let me pick with the information she provided. She was on time, very gentle and honest which I greatly appreciated. Needless to say my whole family comes here now. She is great with teenagers and the little ones as well. If you need the true family dentistry experience this is your dental office.

I have waited over a week for a call back from Dr. Porter to ask a few questions about my last two visits but still no call. I went in for an extraction about a month ago and like last time i paid up front which is no big deal except half way through she stopped and said she was going to GIVE me gas to help me relax . I allowed them to gas me and continue with the extraction. After the tooth was remove we set up a follow up appointment for filling and was told to return return to the counter to settle my bill. She charged me $160 for the gas. The next week at my appointment i was told before we started the price was $275. I agreed and she began drilling and cleaning for the fillings but again halfway into it she stopped and said i have to do something else and it will cost more do you agree? At this point my lip is blowed up and numb so i cant really talk and im ready for it to over so i said yes. After she finished she took me up front and my new bill was $509... I will never go back

My name is JoAnn Goodwin. I went to Dr. Porter at Lofton Creek Smiles Family Dentistry today as a new patient. I loved everything about the office and staff. Everyone was so welcoming. My anxiety disappeared as the dental hygienist performed a painless cleaning, then the doctor came in and did an exam and answered my questions. An excellent experience and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a family dentist.

Very good personal relations skill set. Very good bedside manner. Needs to be willing to provide in-depth description/ analysis of treatment plan, underlying logic and expenses on a case by case basis rather than resorting to generalizing.

Dr. Porter is a kind and caring dentist who provides their patients with state of the art dental care. Her professional skills and kind manner are truly outstanding. Her staff is courteous and efficient. All in all I would and have recommended Dr. Porter to friends for all their dental needs.
