Dr. Irina Sarafyan, DDS

The receptionist KELLY told us several times our insurance "would not cover certain procedures" whereas we talked to our health insurance several times and they assured us, they would, but they had NOT gotten any request for authorization from Dr. Sarafyans office so they are just too lazy and chaotic , meanwhile we waited months . just to find out it has never been submitted first place!!!! Absolute chaos and you can never reach them in the Marina del Rey office, total chOS AND CONFUSION, VERY BAD

I went to Dr. Sarafyan for a severe tooth pain and she was so gentle and caring. Took care of me even though I did not have an appointment on that day. The problem was solved in only 3 visits and I got to keep my tooth! She has an amazing touch!

Very professional Dr and staff. Treatment was explained thoroughly, I always had a fear of dentist but overall my visit was very pleasant.

This is a review for Irina Sarafyan on SUNSET SMILE. I went to Irina Sarafyan on a HMO plan. I went in for a cleaning, was asked what time of type of cleaning I needed and then was met with a bill of what she thought I needed done. She ordered over 15 x-rays and $2000 worth of work. When I asked about the cleaning they said it "wasn't guaranteed" despite my booking an appointment for a cleaning. My follow up questions to the dentist about the work were not answered. I was most upset that she attempted to bully me into signing a document acknowledging and accepting the work she recommended, thus accepting a $2k bill. She raised her voice and was extremely dismissive. Irina Sarafyan tried to scam me. She's your typical HMO hack.
