Good teeth cleaning, bad business
Had my teeth cleaned (excellently done) Feb 16, Office person would not accept my Delta Dental Insurance and demanded immediate payment. Payment made with the advise that Delta would be contacted and when office received payment was received from Delta, I would be reimbursed. After a number of calls and 3 months dentist office finally submitted claim. Claim was denied as a common "procedure code is missing". A number of calls were made, getting reassurances from staff members and once even from Dr Carreno herself. After more than 10 calls in 6 months on this matter Delta Dental has not received further contact or proper procedure codes from DR Carreno's office. I'm certain that she is competent in her practice, the dental hygienist was very good. However attention to business and customer consideration has been lacking in this case
