Terrible experience at this office, I had a root canal scheduled followed by crown placement. I traveled abroad in the meantime and had to get the root canal done abroad. When I came back I found the pre-estimate in my mail which stated about $900 out of pocket for the crown, called and clarified with them and they basically said you will only pay around $450 for the crown. Asked twice and they seemed confident so went ahead with the treatment. The claim came for $950. They acknowledged that they mis-informed me but basically said it’s not our job to read these pre-estimates. They could have said this before the treatment at which time I would have not done it. But now they say it’s not our job and there nothing we can do!!

Wonderful staff, flexible scheduling. Dr Merkley takes time to explain procedures. He makes every effort to make your appointment a success.

It is not professional for the dentist to watch TV while working on the patient. Dr. Merkley did the crown before the root canal when it should have been the reverse, and there was always discomfort and pain. I repeatedly told him about my discomfort and he did not know what was causing it. I got a second opinion that confirmed a bad root canal infection and it had to be fixed. The crown composition was poor quality & has compromised its longevity. Get a 2nd opinion!!
