Dr. Gary Laukhuf, DDS

First I would like to note that I have used Dr. Laukhuf's services more than once. He has YEARS of EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE and is willing to answer any question. In fact, although I had been there before, he wanted to explain to me the surgical expectations with images. My entire ear, jaw, and half of my chin were in so much pain that I could not focus, I was taking approximately 1600-2400mg of Ibuprofen a day when I called them. They immediately offered to call in a prescription for my pain even though I was traveling! They offered the potential for same day root canal (RC). As stated earlier, this was my second time utilizing his services. My first experience was PAIN FREE and not nearly the horror stories I had heard in the past. So, although my dentist offered to perform the RC, I wanted an expert I COULD TRUST.The office staff was AMAZING, KIND, and KNOWLEDGEABLE of insurance. Dr. Laukhuf was PATIENT, PAIN FREE, and KIND. Afterward they were very available!THANK YOU!

Referred to Gary by general dentist to eval for root canal. Office & equipment are very outdated. He pecks his notes into the computer with his pointer fingers, makes constant typos that he has to correct and re-peck which extends appt time by at least double. That is incidental compared to his lack of expertise, personality and competence. He was perplexed by my x-ray and said he would 'have to consult with his colleagues". Three weeks later and I still hadn't heard back so I called his office. He said he had not gotten back to me because I "slipped through the cracks - it happens". Mind you he was not apologetic but rude to the point he told me he was discontinuing me as a patient and hung up on me. I wish I'd had the chance to tell him I'd already discontinued myself as his patient, as I had already gone to another BOARD CERTIFIED endodontist who performed a root canal that day. He should've been honest from the start & said it was beyond his scope. Don't waste your time!!

I was diagnosed by my regular dentist as needing root canal due to abscess. He wanted me to use the endodontist in his office. My husband who has had three root canals with Dr. Laukhuf insisted I go to him as the best there is. The one time he went to another endodontist because Dr. Laukhuf was too booked the root canal failed. So I went to him and am so glad I did. No pain during procedure- Dr. L was very gentle. And no pain after novacaine wore off or next day!!! I was expecting a lot and was very happy that I had none and was able to go to work the next day!!

I had horrible experience with the stuff in his office. They don't schedule enough time to have the root canal done so I had to come back in 3 weeks to have it finished, they charge extracts which insurance does not cover, receptionist is plain rude, 3 days into my finished root canal, I am still in pain. The endodontist is nice but can't say if he did a good job or not. He said it may still fail. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I highly recommend Dr. Laukhuf. He took his time doing my root canal. He explained the procedure as he was going along. The staff was professional.

Dr. Laukhuf is a very talented endodontist and treats his patients with thoughtfulness and kindness. His office staff is exceptional and always helpful. I would highly recommend this doctor and his stuff.

The staff is truely amazing and caring. Even as a new patient they went over and beyond to accomodate my needs. Couldn't be more grateful. Thank you!

I highly recommend Dr. Laukhuf. He took his time doing my root canal, and saved my tooth. He explained the procedure as he was going along. I felt very comfortable in his office. The staff was professional and even provided my mom (a diabetic) some snacks while she waited for me. His cost for the procedure was also reasonable compared to others in the area.
