Dr. Frederick Abeles, DDS

This practice is solely interested in maximizing their profits. They have a nice little racket going on. If you choose to have them treat your TMJ, verify with your insurance that procedures will be covered BEFORE you agree to any treatment. They'll try to get you to agree to several hundred dollars of x-rays before you leave the consult, but refuse. I also guarantee you no insurance will cover any of the treatment ANY TMJ "doctor" will treat. These "doctors" charge fees that far surpass any reimbursement from insurance, thousands of percent above federal allowable amounts. There's a reason these TMJ "doctors" don't accept insurance. If they did they couldn't exploit the patient in order to...you guessed it...rake in the profits. This practice has the fraud down to a science. Nice office, lots of publicity, silver tongue, but simply be informed before you go in there or better yet just find a different doctor. Please stay away from this place. The doctor rarely rarely sees you. They made my condition worse. He does not do the adjustments. I cried with so much pain. Nothing worked. He walks around in his white coat. Just because he wrote a book does not make him good. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO HIM!! THANK God I found a doctor who help

I have seen Dr Abeles for almost 20 years. He has done a full mouth reconstruction and I could not be happier with it and the follow up care I get.

Please stay away from this place. The doctor rarely rarely sees you. They made my condition worse. Please go to a doctor that does 3D scans or a MRI. Visit a dentist who ACTUALLY does the measurements EACH time and spends time with you..THANK God I found a doctor who helped me and listened and he does every adjustment I can eat now. Please stay away from this place!
