Root canal
I am so happy and elated that I was referred to this Endodontist. Dr. Oltra was the most gentle and caring Endodontist and he and his anssistants explained everything into the littlest detail in order to make me comfortable and not worry about a thing. Everyone of his staff is wonderful and could not be more accomodating. My root canal was absolutely painless and a complete success.

Referral: insurance policies not welcoming
Had a referral for two different DrsCall this one 1st and was told Dr does not deal with insurance beforehand based on policy. Not rude but very cold receptionist. Called 2nd referral and had opposite experience- made apptThis office might actually have a better Dentist (I have no way of knowing). Maybe practice should take note.

Dr. Ultra changes ones attitude toward dental work. He conveys expertise, confidence and genuine concern for his patients. I have nothing but positive words, all superlatives, for him. HIs staff is exceptionally caring, as well.

I needed a root canal because the tooth that I just had a crown on about 3 weeks ago started to die and I started experiencing a great deal of pain. I received excellent care, I was impressed with how everything was explained to me completely, before the procedure and during the procedure. Everyone was very nice and the facility was very clean, equipment was high tech, and at the end I was even given a warm towel for my face! Thank you so much, I greatly appreciate it! Michelle Murdock

The nerve in my tooth died on a Friday, yes, a Friday! Dr. Esplugues not only squeezed me in, but he did a fabulous job with eliminating the pain (it was like a kidney stone in my tooth!), By the next morning, I was totally pain free. He was extremely gentle, explained every step of the process, and saved my tooth. I HIGHLY recommend Ultra Endodontics.

Good from start to finish. The office staff - Janet, Jillian - are superb; very helpful. The Dr (and Sarah) were attentive and do care about diagnosing. It's appreciated.

Beware of this practice. They refused to give my daughter her results from an xray she had the day before, until she gave them a credit card number. Janet called said she had results but needed a credit card number before she would give her any information about her abscessed tooth. Holding records and results for payment, not a great practice and doesn't sound legal to me. We are taking this up with the VA Dental Board. Please beware!!

Since my root canal was done in two parts, I had the pleasure of meeting your staff on two occasions. In the unfortunate event of someone needing a root canal, I would recommend your office in a heart beat! Thank you so much for all you do and your positive attitudes.
