Dr. Emad Khalifa, DDS

Was referred to Dr. Khalifa for 2 Root Canals. Respectful, confident, intelligent Doctor. I've had hair appointments that have been more difficult. Highly recommend this office and especially Dr. Khalifa.

This was without a doubt the worst doctor's appointment experience ever. I was referred by my dentist for an evaluation of a possible chipped tooth, I was in pain and I told them so when I made the appointment. Had to wait a week to get in (it happens) the appointment was with Dr. Khalifa, at the Desert Ridge location. They called me the day before my appointment to tell me they had to reschedule (after waiting 1 week) no valid reason was given except that the Dr, Khalifa couldn't make it. I told them I was in pain, asked if I could see another doctor and keep the appointment, that was not an option. Had to wait another 4 days to get in. At this point there was no apology, no attempt to solve my issue, pretty much it was take it or leave it. However they did go out of their way to make sure I knew that the consultation fee could be as much as $385. I was so nervous to learn that I needed a root canal. My Dentist referred me to Canyon Ridge Endodontics. The only thing running through my mind is how everyone says "I'd rather have a root canal than __fill-in-the-blank-with-something-bad___". I met with Dr. Lamott who took the time to make me feel comfortable and explain the procedure. When it was all over I said to him "Why do people say that! A root canal is not painful at all!" So, when my Dentist referred me to Canyon Ridge Endodontics a second time for a second tooth - I didn't feel scared at all. This time I met with Dr. Khalifa and I had a similar experience to the first tooth (a quick painless procedure in a warm and caring environment). A root canal is nothing anyone wants, but when you have to have one I would only recommend Canyon Ridge Endodontics.

Both staff & dr. Have made me feel very comfortable as I was a nervous wreck. He is very caring & made my root canal a breeze. This is my 2nd root canal with him & I would recommend him to anyone.

Endodontic treatment is the last ditch effort to save a tooth and he is honest and straight forward in telling you the expected outcome with endodontic treatment in his skillful hands. He's the BEST!
