I had cracked a tooth and felt a big gaping hole on the left side of my mouth. I called Dr. Portnoy and he squeezed me into his schedule by staying late after his normal hours.
He then proceeded to fix my broken tooth in a relaxed manner giving me total attention. I cannot praise him and his office staff enough for the friendly, caring and humane way they treated me. It is a relief to have that big hole gone. Thank you very much !

Amazing, patient friendly and professional! The entire staff are friendly and professional! I travel from the South Shore to see Dr. Portnoy! He has never ever steered me wrong, and never have pain during treatment! Hence, the traveling! I recommend without hesitation!

He has taken care of my family of 5 for years and I recommend him to all of my coworkers as well. He is meticulous about cleanliness of his instruments, yet he is conservative and does not push for expensive procedures. He takes an interactive approach with the patient, and his technical skills are great.
