Dr. Duane Hansen, DDS

My daughter and I were patients for a few years, only getting insurance treatments and an out of pocket crown replacement. Then I got a bill for a $150 for my last cleaning. I called to clarify and was told the dr would get back to me. A few months later I got a call from the office manager for payment. I explained my situation and was told she would talk to the dr and get back to me. I never heard anything until I went in for my next scheduled cleaning and was told I owed $150 plus late fees. Again I explained my attempts to get clarification on the services and charges for that cleaning. I tried paying the $150 and would never come back. They refused! They would not run my card for any less than the full amount! Now I have a collection company after me for $230! I tried to pay in person and they refused! Is this even legal?
