His solution was to wait another six weeks. I sought a second opinion and got a full 3D scan and occlusogram, confirming my teeth were hitting the inside cusp, causing the pressure and pain. Both the second specialist and online sources contradicted Dr. Wall's advice to keep my teeth apart. Despite his reassurances, my condition worsened, with new abfraction lesions, a visibly pushed forward tooth, loose teeth, and a chipped tooth. His assessment and treatment were negligent, as I saw almost no improvement in my pain, only further damage.
