Dr. Douglas Robertson, DDS

I never thought that I would be eagerly writing a review for a visit to the dentist, but here we are! I am floored by the professional care and attention I had received on my first (and subsequent visits) with Douglas Robertson, DDS that I felt so compelled to share my experience. If 10 stars were a possibility, I would certainly give them to him! I was referred to Dr. Robertson after my primary dentist could not explain – after multiple visits - why my newly capped tooth was experiencing tremendous sensitivity to hot and cold. Dr. Robertson was able to quickly diagnose my issue. With compassion and kindness, he explained what the next steps would be before, during, and after my root canal - including sharing my X-rays and explaining his diagnosis. Dr. Robertson was gentle through the procedure and treated me with great care. Afterwards, his team provided a thorough discharge plan along with a follow up call to check my progress. I am very serious when I say that this is the most amazing dentist and dental team ever!

I developed a toothache on Friday. Dr. Robertson worked me into his schedule the next week and performed a bridge removal and root canals. The procedure was painless, and he followed up with me over the weekend. He forwarded my x-rays and reports to Florida for necessary follow-up treatment there. Dr. Robertson rescued me in my time of crisis, and I am very grateful.

The office is very professional. Dr Robertson explains the procedures, goes over x-rays and answers questions. I had a route canal done and it was a good experience.

Two root canals and no pain! Highly recommend!

For having 3 root canals. It could not have gone better. Dr Robertson and Talea were excellent. I would highly recommend this office for your dental needs. The front desk staff were very helpful, professional and the office was very clean. I actually called the office because I wanted to write a positive review. And I could not accomplish getting to this site. Shane at the office was very patient with me and helped me at the office yesterday (may 23rd) she helped me over the phone today..

Dr. Robertson performed a root canal on me. He explained at the original evaluation exactly what would be done. He also provided a treatment plan and costs. He and his staff were very nice, caring, professional and easy to talk to and answered questions we had.

I was there with my husband who was the patient. I was, at my request, permitted in the exam room during the original evaluation and the re-examination. Dr. Robertson is professional, kind and courteous, as is his staff. He explained everything in detail. I asked many questions to which he answered each and every one. We were never rushed. His staff has great follow up abilities which was most appreciated. They called to check on my husband the day after his root canal. We had a concern (which we weren't sure if it were normal) which prompted his staff to follow up weekly. They then scheduled a followup to check out the concern. Dr. Robertson thoroughly checked it out and put our concerns at ease. Never were we made to feel like an inconvenience.

This was the best root canal procedure. I will never again have one done without the use of GentleWave technology. Thank you so much for bringing this to our area. Dr. Doug is very professional and gentle. I have great confidence in his abilities.

I had a cap put on a tooth by my local dentist and months later had to have a root canal. Dr. Doug answered my questions & was very thorough explaining the procedure - very knowledgeable & comforting. The procedure went well and was painless. I would recommend anyone go to him. His staff was very courteous and nice.

No one does the Gentle Wave in Pittsburgh. It was worth the trip to Wheeling. Having anxiety issues with going to the dentist made it easy to decide to go to him. His manner was calming and he explained the procedure before starting. Having had root canals done in the past that were not pleasant I was surprised at how pain free and finished in half the time. I would never have the traditional way done again. His staff was wonderful and the place was immaculate. He is professional yet very caring. I give him a A+ for his work ethics and personality. You can't get any better than this. Thank You!

Dr. Robertson is by far the best root canal doctor ever! I’ve had 4 root canals done by Dr. Robertson, and I’ll never change doctors! All of my treatments have been absolutely wonderful, painless and gentle, as well as a fast recovery! Thank you Dr. Robertson!

I am highly impressed with the professionalism of Dr Robertson. He will onlu treat you if he feels he can help you. He explains procedures very well. I would recommend him for any root canal work you may need.

I was treated kindly and Dr Robinson was very thorough to make sure the issue with my tooth was correctly diagnosed. His staff were helpful and the office was well equipped to meet my needs.

An outstanding, professional and personable physician. No arrogance or BS. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Friendly atmosphere. All in all, quite outstanding. I had a root canal operation which I had heard was not for the faint of heart. While tedious, it was not anything like the nastiness I expected. Follow up was painless and pleasant. I highly recommend Dr. Robertson. Period.

This office is very clean and great with infection control. They use Gentlewave for root canals, and it is a great device! I highly recommend this office. They are all friendly with each other and all of their patients.
