Dr. Donna Barber, DDS

I have been seeing Dr. Barber for many years and she always has a kind/friendly demeanor - which helps put me at ease. She treats me as if I am a family member (that she likes :)) and I absolutely trust her. Everything she has done for me went well and I have had no issues. I highly recommend her.

I was having a very surprising and upsetting abscess situation. The root canal doctor's xray was up in the air, but my primary dentist was still very concerned that there was a broken root. Dr Barber assessed the situation with great calm and quickly did an exploration that confirmed instead it was a broken sliver of jaw. She wondered if I had been in any bar fights or accidents and since I had been in a bike accident a few months prior, bingo. She was very helpful in getting in aftercare and getting me to unfreak out about this health situation.

TERRIFIC. One of the two or three best health care professionals I have ever seen.

Dr. Barber is one of the best. I would not go to see any other peridonist ever again. First and foremost she listens to a patient and tries to work with the patient's approach (mine is very holistic and anti - cutting since the problem of gum disease is bacterial and metabolic and can't be fixed only by cutting. She is also willing to do minimal surgery for a single tooth if she feels that is called for because other approaches have been tried. I trust her implicitly.

Dr. Barber has been amazing!! So comforting/concerned for my wellbeing. She makes sure you are 100% comfortable before she begins. Talks to you the whole time to keep your calm. She even went out to explain everything to my husband as I was a nervous wreck to make sure that we understood what we needed to do once we were home. She also gave us her home/cell numbers in case anything happened and we needed to speak with her. I can't say enough and will definitely return to her if needed!
