Dr. Doan Tran, DDS

I gave 2 stars because the office front staff were polite and professional. I would not recommend her office, due to the fact that they charge an unjust $10 "infection control" fee and they only try to sale deep cleanings, even though I scheduled for a basic cleaning and the deep cleaning is not covered by my insurance. Also, I shouldn't have had to pay a co-pay because my insurance covered my visit in full. Dr. Tran stated that I had gum disease and that she would not do a basic cleaning. I informed Dr. Tran that I go to the dentist every 6 months and brush and floss my teeth daily and my previous dentist always complimented my hygiene and I would get basic cleanings every 6 months. She tried to explain that even though my gums aren't bleeding or swollen, that gum disease is a silent killer and compared my healthy gums to a poster photo on the wall of infected gums. All they did was x-rays and a dental inspection and refused to do a basic cleaning.

Staff was pleasant and efficiently thorough.

She is a little rough when is comes to the needle. Didn't give the jel time to numb me before she stuck me ??, but the Job was done. I had to go back and get a adjustment, but they were very nice about it. And the assistant was a very sweet lady. I only gave 4 stars because of the rough needle work. Other than that I am happy.

Dr. Tran and her staff are absolutely lovely. Their always making sure you’re ok. Everything is always clean. I will definitely recommend them.

Shes not a good dentist. You suffer pain and a sour month for two weeks from the xray films being jammed down hard in your soft tissue around and under your tonge over and over. Ive never had xrays causing that much suffering and my mouth being sour for two weeks after. Temp crowns breaking several times and going back for more torcher again several times. Doing the xray over and over to get a good full shoot, working on tooth. Repeating xray more working on tooth, another xray. Cheap junk used.
