Amazing dentist! I have been anxious about the dentist for years- Dr Backer & Jenna were kind and awesome, friendly and knowledgeable and made my dentists stress and pain free and easy to deal with!

Dr. Backer and Jenna were phenomenal. I had a crown replaced and a new crown put in. They both took the time to make sure it looked perfect and it does!! I couldn’t be happier with the end result. The entire office makes you feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend this office. You will be treated as if you are their only patient, the work is beautiful and the doctor and assistant that works on you makes sure you are comfortable the entire time and that the work is done perfectly.

Dr. Backer is a caring and compassionate dentist. She brings her ability to treat comprehensive and complex cases as well as routine dental care for the entire family, young and old, to Greater Long Island Dental.

Dr. Backer graduated from University of Maryland College of Dental Surgery in 2000. She previously practiced as a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 10 years before continuing her advanced education and degree as a general dentist.
