After 4 years of wearing braces, and my parents taking loans out in order to pay the steep prices, my retainer began after a year of wearing it to inexplicably not fit. I had the highest praise for my hygiene and steered clear of all sticky foods, sugary foods or any other kind of food a child might want. WE were told they then needed to do extra work in the back teeth in order to get a new retainer to fit right. My parents realized they had been scammed, and my front teeth continued to move slightly. But on top of that, I am now facing all sorts of dental problems I never had before braces. The braces left my teeth dented, cavity-prone, and with receding gum lines. Please avoid braces- and avoid this doctor!

This doctor scheduled me a visit for an evaluation, told me there's nothing he could do to help, and charged me $75 to tell me so.
