Dr. Demetra Atsaves, DMD

There are not enough stars in the galaxy to give Dr. Atsaves. I scheduled my husband's appointment for a root canal and had to wait 4 months for the appointment, but it was well worth the wait! She is God's hands on earth. I've been in the medical field for years and never met a Dr or DMD with as much patience for a patient like Dr Atsaves. My husband had a late appointment and needed other corrections made on the tooth, and she did the job!! After 5:30pm when staff want home, she continued to do her work, and was her own assistant! She went above and beyond for my husband, and i'm sure for other patients as well. And I just wanted to take the time out to acknowledge that on behalf of my husband. Her patience and deep empathy is truly a testament to her devotion and respect of the Oath she made years ago. Thank you Dr. Atsaves!!!!

Took the time and care to take good care of my teeth, as well as my son's. Was highly recommended and for good reason.

The worst dentist on the planet. She should not be allowed to teach dental students or treat patients. Her lack of concern for the health and well being of patients is horrifying. She is the director at the Institute for Family Health in Harlem.
