Dr. Deborah Himelhoch, DDS

Dr. Himelhoch was horrendous with my 4 y/o (new to a dental office) who had a cavity to fix. We came for the follow up where initially the wonderful asst told us that my child could sit on my lap to make the experience more comfortable. The dentist proceeded to come in, and told us it wasn't going to work like that and that she’d have to sit on her own. When one set of expectations is set with a 4 y/o and then it’s pulled off the table, it doesn't go well. As I’m comforting her, I hear Dr. Himelhoch in the background tell my child "Well, you don't really have an option" AS MY CHILD’S CRYING. She proceeded to ask if I needed assistance in restraining her in the seat. Finally, when my child’s inconsolable, she suggested the infant lap seat. If that was an option, why wasn't that the initial suggestion? When I told them I didn’t want to go forward as it was out of control, she then addressed my child w/ "I'm very disappointed in you for making this so difficult for you mom." WHAT?!?

I truly cannot say enough quality things about Smiles in Framingham! Dr. H is the definition of a one of a kind dentist and the staff is absolutely amazing!

Great place to go! I’ve been going here since I was 3 years old. They really make you feel comfortable. Nothing but great results. I always come out feeling like my teeth have been cleaned and feel confident in my smile.

I have been coming to Dr. Himelhoch for nearly 15 years, since I was 4. I’ve had retainers and maintainers, head gear and braces, everything! I’m so happy with my smile now. Everyone here is very friendly and on time always. Highly recommend.

Dr Himelhoch is fabulous with kids. Being certified in both orthodontics and pediatric dentistry, you can have all of your dental needs filled in one office. Both my kids have had their dental work done with her. She did very thorough analysis of their orthodontia needs and have multiple options. They were reviewed with my kids and they were part of the decision making giving them a sense of responsibility too. And even delayed work because he wasn't ready to follow. Great staff too.

I have been taking my kids to dr himelhoch for almost 15 years. My younger son has special needs, and going to the dentist causes major anxiety. Dr. Himelhoch and her staff have always been extremely patient with him and know the right approach to help him relax and cooperate. I would not take him anywhere else.

We are very satisfied with the care received here at Dr Himelhoch's office. The staff is very friendly and caring. An excellent facility to take care of your children's dental needs.
