Dr. Dawn Diehnelt, DDS

Dr. D has worked with my 3 children in improving airway function. I wanted a second opinion after visiting an orthodontist for all three of them. Dr. D looks at the whole patient and doesn’t just seek fixing symptoms. She is passionate about improving her patients’ health, function AND their smile. Instead of just straightening teeth and making room for them, she goes beyond and coaches us on finding root causes and then doing simple exercises along with wearing appliances to fix them. She is fantastic with my kids, works hard to address any hurdles that pop up treatment and listens to and addresses concerns. I strongly recommend her care.

We have been coming to Dr. Diehnelt for Mayobrace treatment for about 3 years now. If you just bring the commitment, good communication, some consistency and trust, then she will go out of her way to do the magic for you, even if things don’t always develop according to plan right away. If you are looking for a doctor who is unconventional, creative, laid back, honest, committed to your success, open to your concerns, and generous, Dr. Diehnelt is for you.

Should not be a Dentist. She is not compliant with health standards. She does not even wash her robe and all 3 times I saw her she was wearing the same clothes and open toe shoes, very unprofessional. I gave her second and third chance but each time, she would scare me more with her very weird explanations as to how she needed to treat me. Her diagnosis was never clear and she said she would call me to let me know how my treatment would be planned after she would talk to a colleague.
