Dr. David Kirkpatrick, DDS

Multiple emails and reminder texts had conflicting appointment times. We waited over an hour from our "revised" appointment time that showed up via email/text 2 hours before the scheduled appointment. We actually waited an hour and a half from the original appointment time which had been scheduled 4 months in advance. Some of the office staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. They will not schedule 6 months out, only 4 months out. Not sure why, since most insurance covers every 6 months. The dentist is fine, the office staff not so much. Avoid the hassle if your insurance covers someone close to you.

I'm a new patient and it was my 2nd visit today. First visit was for an abscessed molar that was giving me grief on and off for 5+ years (no coverage and moving, living in my van, etc). It needed a root canal and he said it was one of the biggest abscesses he'd seen in a while. He did the root canal that afternoon and the process and recovery were the best yet (I've had two other root canals and no comparison). All the back room staff are great too. I'm 60+ and lived in states coast to coast and MX so I've seen a good number. Today was for cleaning and fillings and again it all went smooth as silk. I had two fillings and he used a "concrete buster" to help speed up and do a better job clearing out the built-up calculus and he was done quickly but with a great touch, with both fillings and cleaning. I'm not very good with my dental care and this was the least painful in many yrs. I wish all my current MDs (5) were this good. Happiest I've been in yrs. Your mileage may vary ;-)

IN MY PERSONAL OPINION AND I SEE OTHERS AS WELL. The Doctor was actually nice to me. Staff needs to take their job seriously and show they are there to help not be rude. She is always sitting in the chair talking on the phone with people who are not calling about appointments. I’m going to dispute this and call my insurance company about this lady. A few other things as well. He’s going to “maybe” wait all day or not help at all. Keeping the situation updated all day

Scheduling and the office was very nice. Dr. Kirkpatrick and staff were very patient and thoughtful. Thank you.

Dr. Kirkpatrick is always helpful, understands the financial struggle that dental work can be and is willing to work with you.

Dr. Kirkpatrick is a very good dentist I went in with my teeth breaking and Dr. Kirkpatrick listen to my concerns and worries. In the end we decided the best plan for me, I had a filling fall out and I call and they got me in that day and he fixed it at no charge. Which he could of due to it had been awhile but he did not I would highly recommend him to anyone. The nursing staff was also very welcoming and helpful.
