Dr. David Irby, DDS

I had two appointments close together. A regular check-up then got two fillings 9 days later. I had x-rays in the first appointment and was told, twice, they were "at no cost to me." I never received any word of a balance due. For the second appointment, they charged me an out-of-network co-pay when it was in-network. I overpaid by just shy of $112. When I informed them of this, they sent me a check for half of what I'd overpaid with no explanation. Two weeks later, when I called them asking about the remainder of what I had overpaid, they informed me of the previous balance. I explained that I had been told I wouldn't be charged, they agreed and said they'd send a check for the remainder. Here I am two weeks after that...no check. They don't know when they'll be able to get the check to me. According to my insurance, they submitted the first claim incorrectly and I shouldn't have been charged, either way. The dentist was great! Billing was a nightmare!

The best dentist I've been to in my entire life! Highly recommend Dr Irby if you have SEVERE dental phobia like me! I normally need IV sedation and I didn't require any sort of sedation (even gas!) during my visit with him! I even made another appointment, which is unheard of for me!

I can't say enough good things about my visit with Dr. Irby and the office. I have a decent bit of anxiety when it comes to dental work. I called on Wednesday with severe tooth pain. They saw me first thing the next day and prescribed an antibiotic which immediately went to work on the infection. They saw me the following day, Friday, to perform a root canal. It was the most pleasant experience. I was never in pain. His administering of the anesthetic was perfect. The evening before was pretty sleepless, and I actually dozed off during the root canal. I have a couple of other dental related things to address. I look forward to going back and getting these things resolved. -Bryan B.

Dr. Irby is awesome. Every visit with him is pleasant. His calm and caring demeanor takes the anxiety and fear out of dental visits. He is always patient and willing to answer my questions (and I'm always asking questions). Definitely recommend!
